Salt might be key. I drink so much water right now that I'm peeing every 20-30 min. Usually bring the water bottle with me and fill it back up too.

Thoughts on IF feeding window for someone who wakes at 4AM and hits the gym at 5AM? I get to work at about 630AM after the gym. If I wait until let's say 10AM to eat my first meal, am I hindering recovery and gains by not eating for almost 4 hours after a hard workout?

No, of your goal is to lose fat this is the best lean gains protocol. For trying to gain muscle, switch the protocol to eating right after your workout until a little after lunch.

I often do not eat for 4 hours post morning workout and ride the elevated GH. You are not hindering gains or recovery.

Came across this article and thought it was interesting: Eat Once a Day Diet I started on Monday and only ate dinner around 6:00pm. Just three days later, I'm down 10.1 pounds (no, seriously). Might have something to do with the fact I started at 370lbs...
Anyway, getting through lunch is the hardest part...my mind wants me to eat...my body isn't really missing anything. I eat whatever I want at dinner and it's melting off. Giving up bourbon every night is the other big struggle, and probably the reason for the excess weight.

If you want to have one on the rocks or with water, that's not going to hurt your weight loss.

like mingo said, 1 bourban on the rocks a few nights a week is not really going to hinder anything at your weight.
the eat once a day diet is a play off the warrior diet and fast/feast diet.
Because you are eating only one meal a day, you will be able to eat pretty much anything and still lose, especially at your weight. Shouldnt feel like a diet at all.
Just make sure you are getting enough protein, prolly 200g or so for your muscle mass(just a guess) and you are getting enough fiber. Other than that, enjoy the cheesecake, sushi and steak brother.
and congrats on the weight loss so far.

Thanks. The one bourbon suggestions sounds great in theory...not so much in practice. We'll just see how long I can do this.
BTW...when I got married in 1990, I was 6'5" and 180 lbs. Sleep apnea and a desk job wreaked havoc on me.

Pound water.
I keep a water bottle at my desk. When I get up to pee, I bring it with me and refill it.
Also, I would suggest going for a walk on your lunch break to help keep your mind off the food.
