I don’t know how to put this, but to some people the NFL is basically modern-day slavery,” Baldwin said. “Don’t get me wrong, we get paid a lot of money. There’s a sense of ‘shut up and play,’ that this is entertainment for other people. Then, when we go out in public we’re like zoo animals. We’re not human beings. I can’t go to the grocery store and just buy groceries like a normal person. It becomes an issue, a burden and so. . . I haven’t checked my mail in a while.” - Doug Baldwin

Oh boo hoo, i get paid millions of dollars and am so famous people come up to me in public, and I get mean tweets from people that don't like me!

Hey a-hole, you wanted to be a professional athlete, you knew what comes with being a professional football player. I don't think any african tribemen in the 1800s asked to be sold to white men by competing african tribes, then chained together on a boat for months, if you survived the boat ride forced to do hard labor for the rest of your life. You should remember those facts when your instagraming your rough football slave life.

This modern slavery thing is really taking a toll on mr baldwin,

Baldwin shared this sentiment after revealing some of the hateful, racist messages he has received on social media, including one calling him the N-word and another suggesting he "move back to Africa." Baldwin is from Florida.

from the article. i found this a bit funny......maybe the social media bully should have just said 'move to africa'.
