If you think that this instance of price discrimination 101 is actually an example of communism, then you certainly don't
I'm sorry, but you clearly have no idea what I'm saying. Think about it a bit deeper I guess.
Look up the word 'essence ', should help you out.
This policy has the ESSENCE of communism in it. Not the entire company.

Bro communism is an economic system involving the common ownership of means of production. You can't just make up shite and then talk to people like they don't know shite. Even if you were to stretch it to social/political ideology you're being dramatic as hell. How is $20 a year doing anything significant or any different than offering something similar to college students?
And to that point, drawing lines like that is dangerous. We should be open to implementing aspects of different policies due to grey area involved in almost every issue. Capitalism or what it has become is far from perfect. It is still ideal in our society of competition, but you can't just say communism like it's a curse word when exaggerating.

Bro, this is already so far gone. Good luck.
It's a really simple point. Honestly, it is.

You laugh while multiple people question your reasoning. Have a nice day bro.

Bezos isn't doing this to right some societal wrong by making sure that everyone can gain access to the same outcome. Even if your assertion about communist governments was correct, your application of it here is wildly off base. Amazon is doing this solely to make more money for themselves off of people who otherwise couldn't afford their product.
This kind of price discrimination helps producers soak up more of the total surplus. It does not increase equality or lead to people experiencing the 'same outcome'

I never said "communistic essence", and look up the word essence. I can't explain it any simpler. Like i said, done here.

If this keeps them out of the grocery store that would be great.
Though I maintain that we would all be better off, with a more harmonious society and lower taxes, if instead of money to spend at the store, the poor were given vouchers to redeem for healthy staple foods at a central food depot.
No brand names, no added sugar, no soft drinks, etc

essence noun

communism noun
a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.
quote:OK. Bye. Hopefully you are off to research economic theory.
I can't explain it any simpler. Like i said, done here.

It's really insensitive to charge them, they should get the membership for free.

Not to flame or anything, but this is an extremely unhealthy way to live.
People want to understand your perspective. Make your argument and we'll listen to it. We'll dispute it if we disagree, but that's okay, that's the 'essence' of political discourse.
Just don't shut down and quit as soon as you fail to be able to justify an opinion and then blame others for that failure. Either incorporate the new challenging info into a marginally adjusted world perspective or find the words to explain to us what we are all missing. Just don't say 'frick it' and quit and then delude yourself into thinking that it's all other people's fault

No shite, what's the easiest way to identify a food stamp recipient? Cart full of processed foods with nary a fresh ingredient in sight.
