well I mean those papers they hold up count as tifos
fifa used to have flares back on like ps2
they said it was going to be part of 16 but decided to take it out last minute.

How does a brand as large as the FIFA video game series not have someone working for them that knows this. It wouldn't be hard to find a couple nerds that watch a lot of soccer to come in and help the designers out. Let them know what would and wouldn't make sense in the real world of soccer and apply that to the game.
An advantage EA has over some other video game developers is guaranteed sales of their sports game franchises. People are going to buy Madden and FIFA every year, no matter what. Soccer and American football aren't going anywhere so the content creates itself. No need for fresh ideas when you're putting out the same product every year.

I don't want career mode to be as crazy as FIFA 10 but there isn't enough new players added to make the game fun as you progress. Like every CPU team getting 5 "avg" youth players, dependent on the team's success, added to their roster every year.
