If you were to listen to just the roar of the crowd from an LSU game and say an auburn game, with no context, then I absolutely guarantee that you couldn't tell the difference.
Get out of here with this stupid shite

Sorry, I disagree. I've traveled all over to sports at various colleges, high schools, & pro sports. I've been to a world series & a Superbowl.
There's definitely something on a different level.
MAYBE it's my own passion for all things LSU coloring my judgement. But so many sports writers & tv game announcers have heralded LSU crowd noise/fanaticism for decades. It's not like I'm alone here.

Eh, I've experienced certain nights at Tiger Stadium, the Box and the PMAC where the crowd had a certain menace about it.
Scott Van Pelt's commentary after the 2012 Bama game illustrates that something is noticeably different about our crowd when the stage is big.

How is it stupid? What he said is actually right on point. LSU fans and tiger stadium are reknowned for being some of the loudest and most rowdy crowds in all of sports...not just college. It's a pretty widely shared opinion by non biased observers.

There's a reason Tiger Stadium is consistently ranked atop the loudest stadiums in the country. Jordan-Hare? You get out of here with that shite
