Baseball at Tiger Stadium?

Before I go DIAF, I figured I would throw out something insane. In short, I wondered if the curvature of the North endzone could work as a basis for the outfield in terms of dimensions. Softball could work easily by my eyeballing, but baseball would be questionable. Basically, it would be a one off situation looking to see what type of attendance record we could post. What say the rant? Now...where did I put my matches?

It could work if you built an artificial Sal in the outfield like the monster. That's about it.
Please don't set yourself on fire.

Dodgers played an exhibition game at the Coliseum a few years ago.

you're going to get blasted, but i think it would be pretty cool for one game or series

That would be sweet. Then we could play a football game at the PMAC. This is gonna blow your mind.....INDOOR FOOTBALL!!!!

The Coliseum was also used for the Dodgers when they first moved to LA. Hell, the Alamodome hosts a couple Spring Training games a year now. For purposes of setting an attendance record and generating nationwide pub, it's a fun idea.
shite...we see basketball games played in domed stadiums and on aircraft carriers, football games inside of race tracks, no need to downvote this.
Logistically I think the questions would center around creating a mound and base cutouts, which may not be the best thing for the turf.

Sure it would be cool, but it would never happen. They would have to have a plan in place to lay new sod after. TS is cared for year round. Wouldn't make any sense from a money stand point, when you have a perfectly fine stadium to play in across the street.

They've hosted a bro country shitshow. I think they could handle a baseball game.

I don't see that ever happening. I do see LSU playing in the superdome again at some point. Those were some cool series that we had in the 90's.

It'll never be ready in time.

The dome can no longer host baseball games since they renovated it in 2011(?). The lower level seats can no longer be moved for baseball.
