it actually is the laws of the city and the United States that are being broken aka the laws of the land. Also as far as sanctuary cities go, yes they are breaking the law which should also not be allowed. Not everyone is as 1 dimensional as you are, I am across the aisle on many issues. Discriminating against certain groups of people just happens to be something I don't agree with.

the Lansing Vendor Guidelines states that the business must abide by all city ordinances "at all business practices".
Jake brakes.

Yet the liberals want a court ruling saying federal funds cannot be withheld from sanctuary cities. Imagine. We can hurt a small business owner for his religion, yet we cannot force a city to abide by federal law.

Really now? What are my views on gun control? Trade?
Healthcare?
You don't know what my positions are, so how can you possibly know that I am 1 dimensional? You make a mighty big assumption based upon one issue, don't you?

They sell blueberries, and I would be willing to bet they sell those blueberries to whoever wants them.
Now, if the government wants to go after them for refusing to marry gays.....that should be up to the government. Not a Farmer's Market.

Local government made a rule. They aren't following it so they can't use the farmers market to sell their produce. They can choose to follow the rule or sell their produce elsewhere. If you don't like the local ordinances that your city creates, you can fight to have them changed or move to a place that does things differently.
So, if a city passed a rule that ignorant bastards like you can be refused all services, including emergency medical, are you down with it?
A city cannot make rules that override the freedom of religion granted in the Constitution.

Are the required to harvest and sell gay blueberries too?
Dingle-berries?

Also, the headline to this thread is incredibly misleading/click bait. The business can sell their blueberries, just not at the City's FM.
In any case if it's private then I'm good with it but I fully believe the reverse should be okay too
If the city's doing it people need to get shot

I have stated multiple times I don't agree with the city's ordinance. No idea why you are asking me about their morality.

They updated the guidelines for 2017. I don't have a link as I'm on mobile.
The farm is claiming they updated the guidelines just so they could deny their permit.

so gay rights are more important than their religious beliefs? Is this county not imposing on their right to practice religion ?

In other words, they can't sell a fruit unless they affirm that a fruit can marry a fruit.

They use publically funded roads and bridges to transport their blueberries don't they? So follow the laws or else you don't get to profit off of our nation's infrastructure.
So what you're saying, is that we need to deport 12 million illegal immigrants? If you're going to use that logic, let's be consistent and not pick and choose which groups we apply it to. The illegals use those same roads and bridges, right?
Where do we draw the line? Are some people predisposed to be conservative, and others liberal? I think you can make a case for that. Should refusing to do business with people because they support Donald Trump be illegal?

The city has an ordinance that has gays as a protected class. The city owns and runs the farmers market and requires all of its vendors to abide by its ordinances. The farm doesn't, so the city denied their permit for the farmer's market.
So, let's say I post on Tigerdroppings that I hate gay people and, "I would never hire a flaming queer to work on my farm." I don't really have employees, because my farm is small and my wife and kids do all the work.
Am I in violation of the city ordinance?

To use the restaurant analysis. There are a lot of people who don't want Chik-fil-a to open up stores here in Portland. If a Chik-fil-a in Topeka is shut down for health code violations, should they shut down the stores here in Portland?
