I've posted this story before, but...

It was the day of the LSU Florida game in 2003. It was 230 kickoff, my friends and I started our tailgate at 430. By kickoff it had been a steady diet of bourbon, beer, and jambalaya for 10 hours. On the way to the game I shot gunned three or four beers during the walk across the quad. I stopped in Lockett hall to throw up? Everything after that is a bit fuzzy.

I got separated from my friends on the way into the student section. I ended up in the chair backs on the sideline. I vaguely remember the game. I don't know if I stayed the whole time or not.

I met two "girls" that I insisted I had gone to high school with. They were skeptical, but invited me to their tailgate nonetheless. At some point I ate boiled crabs in an rv and drank some bloody Mary's. I sobered up a bit and realized the girls were 25 to 30 years older than me. I'm pretty sure I made out with one of them.

I got in a car with some people from the tailgate who said they were going to a bar in Port Allen. I may have told them I lived there. In actuality I had never been to WBR.

I drank at the bar with these strangers for I don't know how long.

I woke up on the couch in the lobby of Hergett Hall on Sunday morning. I walked back to my apartment. When my roommates saw me they all gave me hugs. They were very close to calling the police and reporting me missing.

A big group of my friends and I did "Marathon Monday" like in Blue Mountain State. We started boozing at sun up and didn't stop until the sun set. Lots of hilarious memories from that day. One of the guys had a mandatory class to attend, so in full bro fashion we all went with him to support - liquor in Circle K cups. Most of us had workouts after that class. One of the guys dropped a lot of weights and was clearly drunk. We were kicked out of workouts and disciplined the next day. It was an all around awesome day.

The Baptist Student Union ice cream socials were off the chain.

Walked my dogs a lot on the riverside of the levee, mostly by Aster and River Rd.

Across from the poo-poo plant a few hundred yards away, I found a beached shipped, sort of tilted but with a rope hanging down one-side. Me being the daredevil I decided to climb up and onto said ship. Was uneasy to move around as it was listed about 30 degrees, but thought what the hell.

Told my roommates and a few coworkers and decided to go back later that night after heavy partying, about 2 am or so. 15 of us climb onto this ship in the complete dark and low and behold about 6 homeless people decided to jump out and scare the ever loving shite out of everyone. Never seen people move that quick.

Also figured out how to climb across the i-beam across from River Rd towing and access the catwalk underneath the Miss. River Bridge, would climb down the pillars and hang out 40 ft above the water and bang random chicks that didn't believe me.
