Most of the research is by Paul Cameron. Paul Cameron is known for his bullshite "studies".
For example, one of his tricks is if a male family member molests another male family member, he assumes that person as homosexual and includes them in that 18%, even if that person lives an otherwise heterosexual life.
Basically any male that molests another male, he puts them in the homosexual category.
