while this is a travisty, the trend of how protesting is going with the protesters keep pushing the limits of what they are doing, the time will com and soon where people, secrity/law enforcement/the other side objectors, are going to fight back and hold nothing back.
Prime example is the Antifa count wanting to go out and get 100 nazi scalps and gets punched in the face cause she squared up like a man. Then these pussies cry victim. Pisses me off to no end.
There is an obvious difference between the violent Antifa protests we've seen lately and what is portrayed in that video. Did you even watch the video? Allowing foreign nationals to beat civilians - US citizens or not - who are peacefully practicing such a cherished US right and tradition is not something I'm ok with. If you are, you need to seriously reconsider your rights and responsibilities as a US citizen.

Per an article on Fox News (CNN doesn't even show this on their front page):
So it sounds like the security detail weren't pleased with what the protesters were shouting / chanting and asked the police to get them to stop. Police said they can't, so they just went past the police and took care of the protesters on their own.
I can't believe this is not getting more news coverage, honestly.

Turkey's official Anadolu news agency labeled the protesters Kurdish "supporters of terror." It said they chanted anti-Erdogan slogans, and that Erdogan's team moved in to disperse them because "police did not heed to Turkish demands to intervene."

If that is truly how it happened, that's a pretty big deal. Not sure what we can do about it, though. Surely not every one of those men qualify for immunity? The best we can probably hope for is a very public shaming. I bet Putin wants to kick some Turkish arse right now. Not a great way to get US support for Erdogan.

If some foreign security thugs beats the crap out of my fellow citizen, then MOAB should be dropped on their capital.

you have to dig down into to figure out what a horrendous assault on civil rights it was, you should probably not be allowed to vote. Or own a gun. Or drive a car. Or reproduce.
Let's take it easy there Comrade Stalin. I get it. It's damn bad, I was just commenting that watching the video is a bit of fun when you consider it is what everyone has wanted to do to an opposing protestor at some point. Not that it is right. Jesus. We better not allow any humor, whimsy or hyperbole on the OT anymore so we don't lose our most basic civil rights.

You mean like the illegal aliens in Cali, Washington state, Chicago, NYC beating up Trump supporters and just general conservatives?

The Turks were just holding a peaceful counter protest like they have seen widely covered in the aforementioned areas. Media bias, it's all Trump's fault! Muh Russians tampering with Constitutional freedoms!
Seriously though. If foreign nationals, whether Turkish or from south of the Mexican Border, are allowed to beat on those exercising the right to peacefully assemble, they need to be forcefully dealt with and removed from within our borders on the spot. Cannot allow Spanish/Portuguese language be the determinant of whether it is allowable.

Very true. However, the video clearly shows security forces attacking people who were peaceful at the time the attack was filmed. Even if they were violent before the camera recorded, they were not violent when the camera was recording.
Several in the security detail are shown running back across the street to attack protestors after police sent the to the other side of the street to end the altercation. There is no obvious reason for that action.

What does it take then? Kill a few citizens? Nuke of a small town.
Needs to be a massive response. Kick diplomats out the country. Cut dollar aid. And more.

Disgusting. They should have all been arrested and prosecuted. Allowing foreign officials to beat people on US streets should be ok, though, because self-serving politicians & individuals didn't enforce the law before? Are you saying you agree with the way the violent attacks were handled by police & politicians in those incidents.

I don't think anyone is saying they didn't have a right to be out there.

I'm NOT saying that at all.
Equal treatment under the laws of the state, region, locale, and Nation. If anyone regardless of sex, creed, color, religion, or national origin is violating, especially violently, the rights of another within the USA, take them by the collar and belt and toss them out of country on the spot. I don't even care if the foreigner lands on dry ground or water, just forcefully remove them then and there.

The same people that usually want to evoke certain rights seem to want to have other rights revoked...funny how that works
