Well..... regardless if you remember doing it or not, if you purchased a home in a subdivisionm /neighborhood that has a HOA, during closing you signed documents agreeing to follow the rules and restrictions of the HOA.... which may include a restriction on boats being park in the front of homes...
It's pretty simple really, moral of the story is don't buy a home in a subdivision that has an HOA if you have a problem with HOA's.....

No, somewhere other than the front of your house in the driveway so the entire neighborhood has to look at it every day.
Maybe backyard? Build a bigger garage? Your camp? Store it in boat storage? There are lots of options besides your driveway.
Its different obviously if its one day and you're leaving the next day on a fishing trip or something, but to leave it there year round is fricking ridiculous.
and trashy AF.
