If I lived in a state or town where my tax dollars subsidized the stadium I would be livid.

Why?

It seems entirely reasonable to revoke season tickets for people who never show up to games.

No one is taking away their right to buy a ticket, they can still go to games. They just lose their right to the seats they had, I don't see the big issue.

I thoroughly enjoy living in a city that has pro sports teams. I don't know about Minute Maid and Toyota Center but the NRG taxes that raised the money were hotel and car rental taxes. If you live here, those things really don't impact you
