I'd get banned if I answered this truthfully, but it seems people are easily influenced by the whole 5th grade student council promises like longer recesses and free dress days vs issues that actually matter. Oh and look at the demographics.

Simple. The collective IQ of the majority of the voters in Orleans parish is in the negative range. Stupid people elect horrible politicians. Also, a majority of the elections are won not based on political views, rather the color of your skin. New Orleans will never be great due to the large collection of mental midgets that inhabit the city. But Obama says its not their fault they have never made anything of themselves.
