I have a 2017 Sorento and it's great. Consumer Reports rated it the #2 SUV 1 point behind the Toyota Highlander. Plus it's got a better warranty. 5/60 & 10/100k miles powertrain

Neither of the vehicles you mentioned are SUVs. They are both crossovers. Kia doesn't even make an SUV (for U.S customers) according to their own website....sedans, crossover/minivan, and compacts only. But keep telling yourself you drive an SUV if it makes you feel better.
