What if NK were to load it on a container ship and ship it here? I am sure that the vast majority of containers entering the US every year and never checked.
You'd be surprised how well the intelligence community keeps tabs on nuclear material.
IMO something that big wouldn't slip through the cracks especially coming from NK or anyone they would be doing business with.
I've personally seen things like this happen when I was in the military and never heard a peep on the news. Entire cargo ships diverted to a friendly port by US warships due to Intel of material in a certain container. Cargo ship captain burning paperwork, the whole 9 yards.

North Korea is not capable of an EMP strike. More than half of their military equipment is so old that there is doubts weather it will actually work.
They went to the sun, they have all kinds of shite that no one knows about.

An EMP capable of debilitating the Continental United States cannot be deployed in a fricking shipping container at water level.

Our southern states are apparently very vulnerable, as in no early warning whatsoever, sp it's not as if we aren't or have not been exposed for a long time.

Not arguing with you but what kind of threat are you talking about as far early warning systems?

What next to beat the war drums?
North Korea might contaminate the US beer supply...NK might steal all our footballs...NK might shout loud angry words. Geez who is pushing this narrative?

Anyone with nuclear capability that wishes to kick America square in the nuts.
The list is going to grow, not shrink.

Still confused though by this:

Are you talking about missile defense rather than early warning?
Why are southern states be more vulnerable in terms of early warning? The US military and thus US chain of command would know within 5 seconds of a launch. The destination of the missile wouldn't be immediately know however. I imagine we would get an alert on our phone, tv, and radio similar to an amber alert or severe weather warning I get now if something were launched. Then obviously once tuned into the situation updates on trajectory or intercept attempts would be easy to get.
If the gov chose to keep people in the dark to avoid panic then the best early warning systems wouldn't matter anyway in that case.
Are you saying we need airraid-like sirens incase you are throwing the baseball in a park or something?

I'm talking about early warning
We are watching an attack from the north, but not from the south, as we apparently do not have early warning systems in place watching a southern strike. It's part of The old soviet plan to take us out with an EMP disguised as a satellite being shot into space, from the south as a preemptive first strike, then follow up with nukes. They can't do that from the north because of our early warning system which would alert us and we'd counter strike before the EMP struck.

You know it's blatant war propaganda when pure speculation is disguised as imminent death and destruction.
It's the fricking daily mail and it's written to get clicks from the chicken little loons. It's not war propaganda.
This same theory has been presented/published probably 30 times in the past 10 years.
Hey, did you know that Russia has spy ships off our coast and a russian plan flew near Alaska? It's only been a month or two since someone wrote one of those scare pieces. Might be about time for another one.

Not going to go to Daily Mail's defense here, but seriously, what news outlet doesn't? It's how they make money, getting you to click, listen, watch, etc. that's just how it works, and the trustworthiness and unbiaseness of the MSM is nothing but atrocious. That's the world we live in. it's our agenda driven MSM that caused every bit of this. They have themselves to blame for it all.

That is true. None have been used though, and depending on who got a hold of them I'm sure the CIA and other intelligence agencies have something to do with none being used.
All I'm saying is you would be surprised I promise you, as I was when I witnessed very similar scenarios and never heard a peep about it on the news anywhere.
The CIA knows a lot, and shipping stuff like this has been attempted and thwarted and we never hear a thing. I believe they would know exactly what container on exactly what ship and exactly when it left port.

You know everyone says that if North Korea was able to detonate a nuke here then we would wipe them out. I am not so sure about that. Would we drop a nuke on NK knowing how it would effect South Korea? or Japan?

I don't know the answer, but you can limit radioactive fallout depending on altitude of the air burst, and still maximize destructive shockwave.

Yes, I saw this in the documentary Dark Angel- it's also where we learned that Jessica Alba is a genetically engineered super soldier.
