Any of you baws have any experience with one of those husqvarna weedeaters that takes the attachments? I tried to use mine this morning and the damn attachment isn't going all the way in to the drive shaft. Anyone ever have that problem and know how to fix it?
TIA
TIA

If the problem persists for 4 hours or more, seek professional help

Which attachment are you trying to put on?

I'm trying to put on the weedeater attachment but I tried the blower to see if it was the attachment and then that wouldn't go on either. It's got to be something with the female connector side. I tried putting some needle nose pliers in there to see if there was something jammed in it but there was nothing.

Pull the starting cord to re-position the the shaft connection then try the attachment

That was it. Thanks a bunch! I was about to start weedeating but had to come back to say thanks.

Dude was having serious issues trying to get his equipment to work and y'all are in here cutting jokes. Female end wouldn't accept his attachment even after he shoved his needle nose in it. He even tried to get it started up first with a blower and still no luck. The man is having serious problems. No sympathy in this thread.

Next time you can also just rotate the attachment itself until it aligns correctly and slips in. I find this is a little easier than pulling the starter rope.

Is it a third party attachment? I have a Greenworks trimmer that for some reason, the blower is the only attachment I've gotten that I have to jury rig a bit to get it to work. The end towards the motor on mine has a plastic piece that the other attachment screws on to via a collar. For some reason the blower wouldn't connect unless I removed the plastic piece.
