Mate, I think the disheartening thing is this issue never gets discussed. Talking about "fixing schools" or criminal justice reform is akin to treating symptoms and flat out ignoring the cause. Schools are shite because kids have no one at home stressing education or instilling discipline. Then kids drop out and commit crime. No amount of money being poured into schools will fix that problem. Nor will making a few drugs legal fix the crime problem.

Pathetic is a culture that facilitates single parenthood, a known cause of poverty that cuts across race lines. Its almost as pathetic as some one that whines about others pointing that out.
