I'm not sure, when we had our granite installed, the guys left the wood wedged in there until the adhesive and everything dried. He said I could remove it or just leave it. I just left it because it's not really in the way, and it's peace of mind that the sink can never drop down.

Prolly run to lowes and see what they have... try to re attach that little bracing deal with something. I think it may be a piece of granite or something similar. Wasn't a brand new house when we bought, so I'm not sure what it is. I'll try to do it myself and wedge a 2x2, if it doesn't hold I'll call someone who knows what is going on
