Big boats, movie theater, some restaurants some good some not, they host concerts, Art Favre bought it cheap from JP Morgan and Regions a few years ago. He's invested some money into it, and made it better. AIG was the original owner and had some big plans for it, but then the economy went to shite in 2007-08.

It's a Wharf on the Intracoastal. That should tell you everything you need to know right there. Who wants to vacation on a Canal that's 15 minutes from the beach. A couple good restaurants and several terrible ones. Expensive stores and a nice theater. I've watched several movies with less than 5 people in the entire building. A small and intimate music venue with a nice lazy river and pool area. I have heard though the homeowners association is a bitch and just kicked the boat owners and people at new hotel out of the pool area.

Saw Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, and Bob Dylan there a few years ago. The best sound I have ever heard at a concert. The rest of it is shops, restaurants, condos, and a marina.

Stayed there for a bachelor party in January a few years back. We went fishing. It seemed very nice and I enjoyed it considering nobody else was around. I liked that part of it.
Fun fact: In the offseason the AMC is so deserted you can just walk in and watch the movies for free. How I saw Django. It can be a little trippy at night when you're the only one around.

They are opening a new 520 acre Amusement Park in Foley on Labor Day that might put a hurt on the Wharf. Supposed to have a huge roller coaster, shops, restaurants, Ect. Estimated to bring in one million visitors per year. Some Indian tribe is financing it.

Three years ago they restarted a movie for me because I was 5 minutes late and nobody else was there watching. It was January and past all the snowbirds bedtime.

The only decent part about it is the amphitheater when shite country artists like Sturgill Simpson & Eric Chruch aren't playing.

It had potential but they filled it with shitty stores, terrible food and a horrible concert venue. I see no reason it is actually still open.
