I mean, couldn't you have just edited and re-purposed some of your other threads about this exact same subject?
I, for one, will miss their annual February "we're in last place lets fire the manager and barely manage to scrape by" panic. It seemed that no attempt was ever made to really stabilize as a club and not be in the relegation battle each year.

What exactly is your "long con"?
That the FA dragged out its manager search and killed the majority of the summer transfer window thus rendering the club unable to bring in any players and forcing moyes to put together a window on a budget in 3 weeks?
Or was it that Ellis Short decided he wants to sell the team and said the hell with bringing in any new players.
Like most things you have no idea what you're talking about. Or even what "long con" means
