The first 5 picks. Something I wouldn't mind seeing, not what I necessarily see the Saints doing. In reality I think they go CB at 11 and DE at 32.
11) Haason Reddick, OLB, Temple
Many of you know I am a fan of this guy. OLB is technically not a huge need, but I just really like what he could bring to this Defense. He is an elite level athlete. He has played at 3 different levels of the defense in his career: Defensive Back, Linebacker, and Defensive End. He is excellent in coverage, and his a very good pass rusher. Honestly, he may be an elite Pass Rusher coming from the LB position. He will be a WILL LB in the NFL.
32) Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado
Great athlete, Great size, good man cover skills. Not the best tackler on earth but he can really cover people and is a bit versatile in terms of outside or slot. Also was an elite gunner on special teams.
42) Curtis Samuel, WR/KR, tOSU:
Lightning quick, versatile player that played more of a pass catching back at tOSU but will be a WR in the pros. Needs work on route running, but he could be a very unique weapon for SP. Has great hands and has a ton of experience returning kicks. SP wants his weapon and gets it. Very nice compliment to Thomas.
76) Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova
Saints fans getting increasingly nervous that they haven't addressed DE yet can breath maybe a little easier (but Bobby Hebert can't, because he will have to say this name). Tanoh is absolutely built to play DE. 6'7" 289lbs and built like JPP. He is explosive off the edge. Can absolutely get to the QB. High character, extremely smart with a degree in Finance and getting another in Accounting from Villanova. He is raw and still requires a lot of refining. Inflated numbers against vastly inferior competition. Would be a slam dunk pick if he is there this late. The saints have met with him 3 times.
103) Will Holden, OT, Vanderbilt
3 year starter, good size, most people project him as a RT, but has experience at both OT spots. Payton specifically mentioned he wanted a young OL in the draft.

Just update the off season tracker thread with AD already.

I honestly completely forgot about that.

Minus Holden one of the better mocks IMO

Whats up with Holden?

I'm still not sure of how much I like Reddick's fit in our system.. I know you guys have explained it to me a couple times but I just don't know If he really will fit then I am fine with it.
Love the rest of your draft though. Awuzie, Samuel, Kpassagnon, Holden. All great.

Decent mock, but I doubt we just watch other teams take Barnett, Harris, Takk, Taco, TJ, Tyus, Tim and Tarell Basham until we settle for developmental DE Kpassagnon. We really need a starter opposite Cam.

If we were going later on the RT pick we would go with someone with a higher ceiling. Julie'n Davenport out of Bucknell perhaps.
