Since there is no possession limit for saltwater (technicallu the same as the daily bag limit), this would mean you cannot keep any fish above your daily bag.

No way this article is true. Besides, isn't a possession limit defined as what you can have in your possession between the field and your home?

I don't think it is, I think it's just possession, period. As I stated in another response, that is what was understood by people in my family back in the 70s.
