I am halfway through reading the book about HRC's campaign-Shattered.
They go on and on of wondering what they did wrong as they planned speeches and words by focus groups. Never once thinking people were sick to death of the canned political speech of lies.
The book shows a mutiny of power within her campaign with a bunch of idiots. They really thought they would roll in like Obama did. Things have come out that showed Obama cheated in 2012 in Fla. for the win. Until the democrats stop seeing Obama as a savior with a great Presidency they will never win.
They need to say the words outloud that Obam won on hope and change as the outsider and was really a progressive.

Exactly.
Additionally, Obama was likable; far more likable than either of his opponents in McCain or Romney.
Clinton was not likable in '92, '00, '08 or '16. If you run an unlikable candidate, you better make sure you have a bulletproof message and very little scandal, neither of which was the case.
IMO, the election was over in Trump's favor when Clinton had her fainting episode on 9/11.
