I grew up in Opelousas and visit frequently.. that tends to keep my perspective about BR positive

I am happy living in BR. Used to live in the River Parishes so BR is more progressive. When I'm on vacation, I have no bad feelings about going back home. Actually, quite the opposite. I live in a nice neighborhood and am close to a lot of things I like to do. It's not small town like I used to live in where everyone knew your business. I like that. Close to LSU and all the stuff going on there.
