Probably a little of both. We tried deep, mid depth, shallow, main lake, in coves, off the bluff walls, humps, points, secondary points, ledges....... we couldn't seem to find much bait. Where we did find some bait, we got bites. But not many. And they seemed to hit it and quit it. We caught a few spots. Janky missed one about 5 lbs yesterday morning. Spit the hook about 5 feet from the boat. That was depressing.

went this morning and fished till 4...overcast made the day pleasant...
was slow...ended up with 7 and a couple of pretty good sized gar...
all CPR...

Did yall stay the weekend or was just a day trip? I've only fished it once but would really like to make it up there for some "pre front" fishing this winter
