What's the advantage of having a bye....

In gymnastics???

I understand in a bracket type sport but not in gymnastics???? Don't they still have to perform all the events?

6 teams...4 rotations. ..2 teams sit out each time.

6 teams
4 events

Two teams will have a bye each rotation because there are more teams than events

Ok so there really is not an "advantage" they just take turns with BYE, correct?

I mean its a chance of a team to regroup and take a breath, but everyone gets them
