I won't set foot in walmarks simply because of how poor the checkout and service are.

They already have one north of Cortana and another in Baker.

Wal-Mart closed down 6 of the Super Market stores in MS last year. Built them in small towns without a regular Wal-Mart. A couple of the towns ended up with no grocery store after Wal Mart put the local grocery store out of business and then the Wal Mart grocery closed.

That Rouse's is nice and puts Walmart to shame. But if I need cleaning items/dog food/etc, it's Walmart all day.

If they beat rouses prices, which they will, enough people will shop there to make it more than profitable

Why go to Wal-Mart if there is a local market, Rouses, etc. in the area? Guess if you're struggling financially it makes sense, but if not then you should really have more respect for yourself and never step foot in a Wal-Mart.
