I live about 7 to 8 miles from southeast Kansas and about 10 miles from northeast Oklahoma. Many people in this area don't vote Democrat do to guns and church.
If a conservative Democrat runs in the mid term and the GOP is still unpopular they will make some of these races much closer. Dems probably don't win, but it will be much closer than it was in 2016.
This will probably be the same in North Dakota. Native Americans will vote against Trump and other Republicans. Demographics may say it is around 6% NA, but many of the people register as white are also NA. This will hurt the GOP in the Senate race 2018.
This will not just be in North Dakota, but other places that have a high % of NA's. Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma are two of these places. NA don't usually vote, but do to the pipeline controversy this will change.

Exactly. The jungle round is the whole ballgame. He only has a decent shot since the idiot Republicans are running 72 candidates as usual.

Geraldo just said that if Trump hadn't bombed Syria then the Rep guy would have won by single digits or even lost to the Dem. What a goof.

There are no "conservative" democrats because no conservative would vote with pelosi on anything besides naming post offices

That guy just needs to hang it up.

He did admit the Dem party is basically non existent at the time. Mentioned shambles.

Ohio, Virginia, Florida. All big pop states that have gone differently in recent elections. Harder to predict.
That's what I'm saying. I don't think there will be swing states in 20 years.
Ohio will be dark red, and Virginia will be dark blue. Wisconsin and Michigan will also be dark red. I think Nevada will be dark blue.

So every election will just be down to how Florida votes?
God help us all.

That's how Jason Kander almost won MO. He was pro guns (or at least not anti gun) and he is a Christian.

I think this is overstating how much Native Americans can affect a state race.

NEO area will be solid red even if the tribes try to get the vote out. There is just too many people in the area that are staunch R. In Siloam I thought I would have seen more Dem support due to Latino and NA vote, but no it was so solidly R.

Jason Kander is Jewish and is married to a Russian(USSR). That is one of the reasons people didn't vote for him.

Webb City. Don't think Dems will win, but it will be closer.

The GOP is going to win this tonight by probably less than 5,000 votes in Ruby Red Kansas. Think about that for a minute.
The only people who care about the margin of victory in a political race are the losers. It's the only consolation prize they have to keep from killing themselves.

Oh nvm I could've swore I remember him talking about being a Christian.
He also supported BLM which was retarded after the last 2 years in Missouri.

I moved here about 7 years ago, but we might know some of the same people.
I am from south central Missouri less than a mile from Arkansas. Played legion baseball in MountIan Home and went to college for 4 years at WBC in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.

I like Kander and voted for him. The BLM hurt every democrat and democrat turnout in Missouri. Trump would have won Missouri, but the BLM hurt Kander and Koster. I despise Roy Blount, because I was seated at a table with him at chamber of commerce dinner and he is an arse.
If McCaskill wouldn't run for re-election Kander or Koster would probably win the Missouri 2018 senate race.

I didn't vote for either one of them. My point with Kander being that he should have just ignored the BLM stuff. No democratic politician was going to win Missouri supporting that.
It was a dumb political move in 2016.
He could win in 2018 but I don't think the dems have the balls to primary McCaskill. She'll get smoked though.
Posted on 4/12/17 at 1:02 pm to TheXman
She should get smoked. Her views does not represent the state and her private life is extremely shady.
GOP should run Ann Wagner the congresswoman from the Missouri 2nd district. She will probably lose her congressional seat if she runs.
