trailer
The Mist expanded universe? Might be kind of interesting to see this from the military's point of view at least. Spike doesn't have the best track record with its originals but this kind of intrigues me.

Hulu is also producing a Stephen King series. I'm still not sure if it's an anthology series or not. It's called Castle Rock and JJ Abrams is also involved.

Looks like a Syfy original series. I'll probably check it out. I was hoping to see a monster in the trailer but I guess they are saving it.

Not really liking the liberties they took with it.
Specifically the apparent psychological effects of the Mist itself. It kinda takes away from the whole point to make the mist that insidious. It's supposed to just be the unknown, and uncertainty.
Monsters? Okay.
Internal conflict among survivors, with some being driven to insanity due to exposure to horror? Well that's the bread and butter of the short story.
Bad-trip LSD Mist? Pass.
Gimme the Thomas Jane version on repeat vs that.
