Ocean Springs is probably the best place on the coast, IMO.
However, do check out the schools since OS is in Jackson County, which has no casino tax revenue. Whereas the other coastal counties, Harrison and Hancock Counties do take in casino tax revenue, thus are SUPPOSED to have better schools.

Ocean Springs is an independent school district so it wouldn't collect taxes from casinos in the county if they existed.
In any event, you make up having less taxes receipts by having higher education and incomes per capita, therefore less shitty kids ruining curriculum.
The principal of the HS is the mom of a friend of mine. Lots of articles about her kicking arse there. Took over from another previous great principal/supervisor.
We had plenty of kids who went to very good colleges. As with most schools, its 90% the parents anyways.
