What would you think if PGA assessed a penalty on Sergio?

We all know about the terrible Lexi Thompson incident. And I have seen a penalty iassessed in the past because one grain of sand was seen on super slo mo that flew up on a golfer's backswing. They have since changed the rule on this.
In today's final round at the Masters, there was a concern that Segio's ball may have moved while he was cleaning the pine straw around it. They replayed the event in super slo mo and it showed the ball did not move. But what if it did in an almost imperceptible way that can't be seen unless it is viewed in super slo mo? And what if the PGA assessed a penalty on Sergio a couple of holes later that resulted in him losing?

Since he ended up winning by 2 it might still be ok

Happened to DJ some years ago, grounded his club and got left out of the playoff.

if you were the runner up, I bet you'd think differently.

Once the tournament is over he can't be assessed a penalty. Even if the ball did move they can't go back now.

The Masters isn't a PGA event, FWIW.

They need to limit call in etc
also they need to drop the penalty on wrong card non-sense.

The PGA doesn't run the Masters, they can do what they want abd change any rule or penalty at any time like they did for Tiger.
The men in Green Jackets run the show.

The rules committee stated by the time he was on 14 that there would be no penalty following video review of the incident
