Leonard Fournette received his fair share of criticism for showing up at the NFL Combine at 240 pounds.
Fournette quieted some of those critics when he posted a time of 4.51 seconds in the 40-yard dash and later said the extra pounds he was carrying was only water weight.
On Wednesday at LSU’s pro day, Fournette tipped the scales at 228 pounds, even lower than the reported 230-235 pounds he played at while at LSU.
Will he post that same time that was regarded as the fastest ever for a running back his size since they have been registering the times at the combine?
Check back for Geaux247 shortly after the Tigers are timed in the 40-yard dash.

Also of note, Fournette not scheduled to participate in the 40. Keeping his Combine time.

That dude is a physical specimen.
So he is running? Would be awesome if he hits a 4.45 or something.
ETA:
OP edited to add he isn't running. Probably a smart call.

He has nothing to gain by running. He runs a worse time and everyone kills him. He improves on it and they say its because its a pro day.

This is pure genius. He's saying, "Hey, I ran a 4.51 at 240 pounds. I will play at 230. Imagine what I'm capable of at that weight."

Watching the NFL network and Adam Rank says " I'm not sold on Fournette" and has him ranked as the 4th best running back. Lol. Reminds me of NBA scouts diminishing Shaq back in the day . People tend to over- think things.

His sophomore year he was in the 220's. Smart move. He can do the same things as he could at 240, just a lot better
