Right after the April 2011 tornado that ripped through Tuscaloosa, the media would not report of the 40 dead bodies found on top of University Mall.
Also (presumably ) another 40 dead bodies were in a small lake in the middle of town where the city was going to have to drain the lake to get all of the bodies out.
I'm sure there are plenty of Katrina and even Camille stories.

They were raping babies in the Superdome and in BR there were roving gangs of black folk with AKs.
People were actually calling into the radio stations with these stories.
That's the year I learned that the general public is too stupid to be allowed to vote and why Louisiana has shitty elected officials.
