One of the best articles I have read reviewing all the top guys we are looking at. I particularly liked the clarity between the Barnett & Harris types and McKinley-Tim Allen.

worth a read here

I'll take the safe pick in Barnett

The more I read the more I think he is THE guy. My greatest fear is that they have him 20ish on their board and take someone else on a value basis. Lattimore, if there, I might could see, but really no other corner at #11.

Yep. I can't see them going offense at #11. If it's not Barnett, then they may opt for Hooker or Lattimore if they fall. Maybe Reddick or Foster if they like them at LB.

They could also have Taco ranked ahead of Barnett, but I hope they don't.

I really like McKinley. Would love to see that explosiveness on the Saints defensive line.

I like McKinley a lot too but check the article. I think it was spot on. He has a little more of twitch and speed. Those guys guys seem to be more boom or bust than a Barnett or Harris type. Recent failures of these type make me leery. (Dion Jordan, Mingo, Jarvis Jones, etc)

I wouldn't draft him as a Saints fan but I could see Tim Williams getting 10 sacks a year for the next 6-7 years.

When he is on there is no one better in this draft.

I tend to agree Reddick will be special

Barnett reminds me a ton of Jarvis Jones. Super productive in college, overmatched physically in the NFL.

I like Willis from Kansas State at 32 if we take a CB at 11.

That's my concern about Barnett as well.

If we could get Lattimore at 11 and Willis at 32 I'd be one happy Saints fan.

Yeah that's just not true. Barnett did not test poorly like Jones did.

The only similar numbers were the 40 and vert. Barnett easily bested him in every other measurable.

Oh by the way Barnett did that while being 15 lbs. heavier than Jones.

Barnett's 3 cone was actually on the better end of DEs in this draft too.

The issue with Barnett is he doesn't have the elite speed that a lot of the dominant speed rushers have.

BUT he has enough speed where he won't be outmatched, and his hand technique and bend are on the elite level.

He is going to be a solid player, and could even be very good. He just won't be a consistent 12-16 sack guy, but not many are.

You must feel pretty strongly about this. That's your 5th post in 7 years

Sorry "GMoney," but are you insinuating that because I don't waste my time trolling message boards all day I don't know what I'm talking about? I googled pels d league team. Stumbled upon this site that I don't really look at often. Had some time to kill and took a look. No more. No less.

Thanks for your opinion.

If they go Barnett or Taco at 11, I wonder if McKinley or Williams can play OLB full time? If the answer is yes (maybe with a year or 2 of experience), then they become much more attractive options at 32. I would also love to see Cunningham fall to 32!
