Just on the video alone it looked like she overreacted in a very trashy kind of way.

There's history there.

That racist allegation seems like it is incorrect.

They dressed in blackface for a party and wore indian feathered headdresses to another. This will not get you kicked off.

The tow sisters roommate was the only senior on the team. She came to their defense. She is black.

Any sport where coaches high five the opponents players after the game is not a real sport. In other real sports, the coaches greet each other after and if one coach feels it necessary to single out an opponents player for a special congratulatory embrace, then that may happen. Most of the time it's just the coaches greeting each other postgame.

Probably, but I don't feel like looking it up.

Basically, he kicked her 2 sisters off of his team a few seasons ago. You can assume that's why she didn't want to give him the high 5.

But yea, there's zero chance he had no clue she was that sister, and just happened to whiff on the high 5 to the sister of the 2 girls he kicked off the team, like some posters are trying to say.

She did what she did on purpose. He did what he did on purpose.

I'm obvious biased but I think Walton was in automatic high five mode as is done after every softball game. Her hand was down so he kind of gave a high five/tap on her shoulder to acknowledge her. Her instant reaction to jerk away after being touched at all made it look worse than it was.

Ultimately, Walton is the adult in the situation and if she feels like it was inappropriate, he needs to apologize.

He whiffed because she refused to shake (slap) hands. I will concede that he may have made sure to acknowledge her by extending his arm, but that was no where close to assault or anything of consequence. Had the girl just had her hand up nothing would have happened. The odd thing is, Auburn won. Ol' girl should have been all up in coach's grill, "how you like them apples?"

Yes, he intentionally whiffed because she refused, definitely.

Ok, I didn't say anything of the sort.

Had he not did what he did, nothing would have happened and none of us would ever have known.

If she is a senior, I wonder how many awkward hand shakes they have had in prior years? Maybe this has been building in the line for a couple of seasons now. The head coach probably knew she wouldn't slap hands. Just guessing here.

Good point. I certainly don't know where each has played or if there were prior handshakes.

While not assault or anything close to it, it's a very childish way for a coach to behave. You would expect this from a college student, but a grown arse coach, c'mon man. He looks at her extends his arm and then looks back down the line. IMO he should at the very least extend an apology to the player through Auburn's coaching staff for him behaving like a fricking 10 yr old.

Doesnt seem like a big deal, they say like 5 words to each and keep going. She's walking behind him the rest of the way and they never look or talk again. I think they both got over it in about 5 seconds.

Its the jawing from the other people that keep it going.

Yeah it didn't look bad on his part to me.

Um, they are both adults. She doesn't get a pass.

Ya, but you'd think if she was really mad at him she would have stayed behind him talking and going hoodrat on him.

She doesnt even pay attention to him at all, like not even a glance. She didn't care what he did.
