Who has been? Taking my son this summer and looking for some details. What time should we leave for the venue? Closer hotels to the venue? We will be there for 4 days so what else can we do in Denver up to say an hour or two away from the city? Thanks!

Go! Amazing experience.

Take the bus round trip, don't stay near venue.

I go every summer....it's the best

You can stay in Golden, CO or even in the actual town of Morrison if you want to be closer to the venue.

I'd recommend staying in Denver, and signing up for a bus. They have at LEAST 10-15 diff companies that's sole business model is transportation to and from Red Rocks from Denver. It's about 30 min away

The Sunday show starts during the day (3ish), and will get out before it's dark.

Take a picture of your row #, or write it on your hand.

I can give you a lot more info if you need it, but that's a start.

Air BNB/Hotel in golden or Morrison. In terms of what to do, hit up a Rockies game if time allows, do some hiking around red rocks, wake up early and go to boulder for a little bit, zip lining in golden, buffalo bill museum, look out Mountain in golden, and golden gate canyon would be a good start.

Good job, he will be grateful.

I've been to Red Rocks for WSP shows, and an Umphrey's/Railroad Earth weekend.

It's the best venue in the country. AUGDawg is pointing you in the right direction.

Enjoy...Panic crushes Red Rocks!

Is Chief Hosa campground still a thing? You should definitely take your son there if so.

Probably as lame as Panic is these days though.

went for the first time last July 4 we had an blast
there's all kind of places to move around and hang at we barely were ever in our actual seats

we stayed in Morrison at the one "hotel" and it was awesome
we stayed an extra night just because the town was so cool and the room so nice
the dinosaur ridge excavation was really great if you get excited about that sort of thing
