Bassmaster Classic this weekend Lake Conroe

Anyone going to make it to the convention center or out on the lake.
Going to hit up the convention center on Sunday.
Should be some nice fish brought in this weekend.

Looks like Ike's been tearing them up in practice.

You can watch live coverage all three days on Bassmaster.com or on WatchESPN. They usually show about 5 or 6 hours of live. The classic show won't be for a few months.

They really need to update how they broadcast fishing events. Show it live, and it would be much more interesting to me.

They do show it live. They put cameras in the top 6 boats, and they broadcast the weigh-ins live. The first day of the Classic, they just put cameras in some of the favorites' boats. I'm sure guys like Combs, Vandam, and Iaconelli will have cameras.

Yep, and if a marshall for a lesser known guy reports a good bag they will bring a camera man to jump in the boat.

Isn't there a rookie fishing it? He was a 3 day leader in a tournament this year and finished 2nd to Van Dam on the last day. He got a classic birth for it though if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure how all that works.
Anyway, he's just a kid. I'm rooting for him if he's in it.

Wiggins is the first person ever to qualify for his second classic before fishing in his first. He is fishing this classic from winning an open last year, then he won the first open of this year. He did lead the Cherokee Lake event on days two and three, but Jacob Wheeler passed him on the final day.

a buddy of mine's father lives on the lake...they will follow a few guys during the tournament and go to the weigh ins...
