Yep, I have a thirty something buddy who bird watches with his BIL....who's british. The travel just for a chance to see a bird they haven't seen.

That's a Great Cormorant.

I saw several while birding around Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens in London in February. And I saw zero British birders out but a zillion people walking their dogs. Those statistics are nonsense.

LSU is well known for its ornithology research and bird samples from all over the world. Especially down in Peru where they are still finding new species.
