Holder seems to think this might indicate no more Hightower.

The Saints are expected to meet with Tennessee running back Alvin Kamara next week, a source told FOX 8 Sports.
Kamara averaged 5.8 yards per carry last season in Knoxville. He scored nine touchdowns and caught 40 passes out of the backfield.
Saints coach Sean Payton has said this year's draft class is deep at running back. At 5'10, 214 pounds, Kamara is projected to go in the late first or early second round of the draft.

usually we draft one when there's no need so the only thing to assume since there is a need, we're drafting 2.

Saints drafting Kamara would be a colossal frickup, because to get him they'll have to spend a first or second round pick

He would be amazing in this offense though, without a doubt.

stupid assumption on his part. I dont think they are connected at all. Maybe we lose Hightower but i think we are looking for another RB anyway
Kamara, joe mixon. maybe elijah mcguire or stanley williams later on in the draft

There are similar players that you can get later though. Gallman and Mixon are both similar and Samuel is even better suited in the sproles role than Kamara is. He doesn't offer anything between the tackles but could be a nightmare space player.

Kid out of Ohio State that's a RB/WR tweener. Last year had 97 for 771 on the ground with 8 touchdowns. 74 receptions for 865 and 7 touchdowns receiving. Ran a 4.31 at the combine

If we get Barnett at 11 and have to give up 32 to get Butler ....
Getting Kamara in the second round wouldn't be a bad move....the poor man's McCaffery

Thought Samuel was projected more as a wr in the slot

Two Tennessee players in the draft would be awesome!

Grab him in the second. It's a position we need and he's great at it.

He's a man without a position. Think Percy Harvin/ Kenyan Drake/ Ty Montgomery. Jack of two trades but master of none. As a second string back he isn't viable, if that's what the saints want. As a specialist/receiving back he could be really good.
2nd round pick on a backup tailback seems silly with the defensive needs though

I would spend a 2nd round pick on another sproles/bush in a heart beat

I've read a lot about him. I think we need a pass catching back as one of our top 3 needs if we're going to do anything legitimate. The knock on him (besides the lack of defined role) seems to be he's more a linear guy and not overly shifty.
