Great read. Interesting to hear his perspective on his own addiction and his struggles with sobriety. Glad it seems like he's got his life back on track.

Feel like every two years we get an alternating story of either "Ryan's leaf is recovering and coaching and finally at peace with his bust status" or "Ryan leaf arrested after drunkenly smashing a beer bottle over a small child's head and snorting some cocaine right after"

NFL should have players like Leaf speak to rookies every year about thing that could go wrong.

It's good to see that prison can provide positive change in some people's lives. Sometimes you just have to learn the hard way no matter where you're at in life.

Watched a documentary on him recently, pretty cool. I always felt bad for the guy even during his self-destruction. He was bullied by the media tbh, they made a fool of him every chance they got.

Sandis Ozolinsh was a known alcoholic who scored over 500 points in the NHL as a defenseman and made all-star games. Makes me wonder how good he really was.
