Since 1997, all he's done is Avatar and he still can't seem to put anything out on schedule.

He's done a ton of deep sea research as well as two docs on sunken ships like the Bismark and Titanic. He's also into cattle ranching and other agricultural stuff.
It doesn't seem like film-making is really his passion anymore which is probably why he is shooting Avatar 2-5 all at once.
