I really like Musselman too. I'm not 100% sure bit I think Nevada is him alma matter but he's been here before so there's a chance. Northwestern has committed money to the program but word is Alleva and Collins are close and he's going to be the top target. As far as him leaving Northwestern has never made an NCAA tourney and have no culture whatsoever. LSU is the only big school in a talent rich state and the sec has a more clear path to the top than the big ten does. With the way things are here and Alleva and kings rep it's going to be hard to pull anyone away from a decent job but those two are the best chances we have. There's also Beard who is an understudy of Bobby Knight and has done well taking over for tubby smith. The other guy is Rick Stansbury who's openly stated he wants the job and has won in the SEC and recruits this state better than anyone.
