It's been explained several times in this thread already.

The guys value has gone up since when he was drafted. He's a very young, proven starter in this league and he's trending upward. He's on a great contract and will be for 2 more years. And, this is an absurd WR market.

High draft picks who have proven their worth generally don't get traded during their first contract...especially when it's not a contract year because their value is so high.

A player like Cooks is going to demand a high price if there were no other issues in play.

You're basically saying he is worth more to us because we picked him in the 1st round and he produced,, and i would agree with that. Doesn't mean his market value is equal to that. This whole thread is getting that mixed up
