Master List and Ratings of Boiled Crawfish Sides - Besides Generic

Provide ratings!
I'd like to create a master list of sides that people use in their crawfish boils, besides the generic potatoes, corn, onions, sausage and garlic. I'll create 4 categories: vegetables, fruit, meat, and spices. Tell me what you have put in and rate how it turned out on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being the "you must try this", 3 being "good", and 1 being "don't do it"). I'll add your suggestions and rankings to the master list once submitted.
I'll stat it off:
Vegetables
Baby Bok Choy (4)
Broccoli (4)
Mushrooms (5)
Cauliflower (3)
Fresh green beans (3)
Artichokes (3)
Golden beets (5)
Sweet potatoes (3)(4)
Brussel Sprouts (halved) (3)(4)
Brussel Sprouts (whole) (5)
Canned corn with holes punched in can (?)
Carrots (?)
Edemame (?)
Nopales, i.e. cactus (4)
Fruit
Pineapple (3)
Oranges (?)
Garlic
Meats (I know eggs aren't actually considered meat, but I'm putting them here)
Poached Eggs (5)
Boiled Eggs (4)
Whole small fryers tied in panty hose (?)
Homemade tamales in the husk...just drop them in the boil long enough to warm them up (?)
Hot dogs (?)
Pork Tenderloin (?)
Cheesy Brats (?)
Spices Rate these on how you think they add to the overall flavor of everything else in the boil, though some of these are edible
Habaneros (Fresh) tops removed (5) About 0.65 lbs per batch
Serranos (Fresh) tops removed, cut in half (5) About 1.75 lbs per batch
Jalapenos (Fresh) tops removed, cut in half (5) About 2 lbs per batch
Lemons (2)

Give me your ratings on those if you don't mind.

Someone once brought yuca to me to throw in when I boiled. It was interesting.

Brussels sprouts
I also know some people that say oranges are essential -- I never reall noticed any discernible difference in taste

Crap, I forgot about brussel sprouts! I love those in there. I always half them because they don't soak up much if you leave them whole.

Hot dogs
Can corn, just put some small holes in the can
For oranges, just use whatever number you use for lemons. Do oranges instead of lemons. Not the best, but its different.

Easily top of the meat list. Makes a killer chicken salad.

When do you put the carrots in?

If it's fresh carrots I do them with the potatoes. If it's the bag type I throw them in during the soak.

I can't take credit for it, but a pork tenderloin in the boil is delicious under meats.

If you really want to make this legit you should update the OP with optimum boil/soak times.

What is Golden Beats?
I spelled beet wrong...whoops!
It's a beet but it doesn't taste sweet like a red beet. It's more savory and very good. I don't like red beets much at all, but I love golden. You may be able to find them at Whole foods.

No thanks. It varies with pot type, pot size, burner type, and personal preference.
