No, 2,4-D is not safe on them. However, some products with a very low rate of 2,4-D will get away without killing them.
The safest products for broadleaf control are dicamba at a really low rate, MSM at about 1/3 oz, or atrazine.

i don't know about 24d but i do know about celsius wg
i never see this recommended on here, but i love this stuff.
got hammered with virginia button weed last year and celsius wiped it out.killed everything i have tried on so far.
safe for st aug, bermuda and centipede.
expensive upfront, but you only need a teaspoon per gallon of water,so cost per application is low and will last ages.
can also use over 85 degrees while others will kill your grass with high temps.
next get a pre-em
LINK
Prodiamine is my choice for pre-em,a generic barricade.
these 2 products will last you for ages and leave you doing minimal weed work.
feb 1st spot treat weeds
march 1st pre-em
april 1st fertilize with milorganite.
i have centipede in front,st aug side of house and 1/2 st aug and bermuda in back which i will turn full bermuda over the spring/summer.

'll post this question here instead of a new thread. Is 24d safe for centipede and st Augustine? My front yard is a mixture.
24D kills broad leafs not grasses. You can spray it on St Augustine.
You can spray it on centipede too but 2,4-d manufacturers warn not to apply when temps are above 90, below 50 or during the spring green-up.

No.
Unless you are very accurate in your application of 2,4 d on centipede and you probably aren't because you probably do not have equipment to be so accurate then don't use it.
Mow aggressively and as it warms up see if the weeds are still there.
I planted some centipede last fall and it is a thin stand and I have lots of weeds but I am not going to spray. I am mowing every week right now just keeping the weeds down and when it warms more that centipede will grow in and the weeds will go away.
