Difference in usage in Kobe's 2006 season vs this season for Russ is 38.7 to 42.1. A noticeable difference, but ok.

Difference in assist % in the same seasons. Kobe 24.1. Russ 56.1.

We're done here boys. Lock it up, mark Boom down for the L.

Two of the top 3 fga per possession seasons in their careers belong to Russ. Thread over.

I'm not sure why people look at his usage as him being a ballhog.

There is only one other player capable of running the offense through them, and that is Oladipo who has missed extended time and is a gigantic drop off from Westbrook. Payne was terrible and Christon is barely above D-League level.

OKC is at their best when the ball is in WB's hands. Yes. He takes a lot of shots. He also constantly sets up his teammates for open shots. Unfortunately some of those guys also miss a lot of open shots. Sabonis and Roberson for instance. He is still getting 10.1 per game on a poor shooting squad.

The greatest part about Westbrook is also a reason why he has games like last night. His confidence in his ability can get him out of control at times. It is also why he can do what he did to Utah where he started the 4th by missing everything then absolutely took over late and got the win.
