May be a hidden gem...according to bartow he is one of the fastest backs in this class
PROFILE: LINK
Track speed: 10.57 personal best in 100
LINK
Also participated in the junior Olympics
Could not find his football highlights. Could also add muscle to his frame.

They are actually cousins
Vonte is a good kid, has home run speed but no side to side agility and he might just stick to track. He left this semester to go to one of the top track schools in the country and now holds the top time in the country, so very real possibility he goes pro when he graduates

Speed alone does not a runningback make

Just hope he doesn't kneel kickoff returns at the 1 yard line.

USC just offered! He is waiting on a Clemson offer. Interested to see if Tommie Robinson follows USC and offers. LSU and Bama are suppose to visit the school soon

What's up with all the "Vonte's" in this Valentine crew??

Coach O and Coach talked today. I think we are the favorites, but Clemson offer could change everything

Really like this guy, smart, tough, fast, and could pack on some pounds with still being fast as hell. He literally glides on the field has huge strides then had a brace on so he's even faster! Could be that diamond LSU needs. Keep up the hunT and I'm sure there are even some that will pop up no one even knows about or is unsure about but will develop into a great back. GT

If he is trying to do track as well then I'd say that favors us over Clemson
