This same judge has probably sentenced numerous people to far less time who have committed crimes like armed robbery, burglary, involuntary manslaughter or assault and battery where the victims suffered actual physical injury.
Nobody in this case was physically harmed and I believe his sentence to be absurdly harsh. Send them to jail yes but not for decades.

This judge probably sentences members of her constituency to "three good deeds" and throws the book at these downtrodden white Hispanics

Maybe so but those kids are mentally scarred. There's video of the incident.
