I think the Big XII is pretty good.

I just think the gap between the ACC and every other conference is enormous. Even over the Pac 12, who has three good teams at the top.

I think 3 ACC teams make the Final Four.

This is a great win for Butler. It's the type of win that can bump them from 7 seed to 5 seed. Other than their problems with the press, I thought they played an outstanding basketball game tonight.

ETA: They swept Villanova. That's really going to help their seeding.

I agree. Out of the ACC, Pac 12, and Big 12, I feel that the Big 12 is by far the weakest. A lot of mediocre teams. It's a shame that KU wins the conference every year as well. The two Iowa St teams gave them a run for it and Baylor just can't beat them. But I will say that KU, Baylor, and WVU are a very solid top 3. Man March is going to be so fun. It really is wide open. I really hate the "College Basketball sucks" crowd bc going into the final weeks of the regular season is a blast, then it's full speed ahead once Conf Tourneys start.

It's starting to resemble the SEC in football from about 2008 to 2012 or so - it's almost too difficult, and otherwise pretty good teams are getting swallowed up.

I can't recall ever seeing another conference in which it was so damn difficult to win on the road; that's been the real differentiator with the ACC the last few years. Basically every arena except Boston College and Georgia Tech can be extremely tough place to play on a given night.

Four Hall of Fame coaches; another five or so (Bennett, Brey, Larranaga, Williams, maybe Pastner, maybe Manning) that I would classify anywhere from good to very good.

I think Pitt and Clemson would have been pretty comfortably on the good side of the bubble in any other conference. Those are decent teams that have had close loss after close loss after close loss through brutal conference grinds.

Ehh. They have 3 top teams.

KU is as usual. Baylor is much better than they have been in the past and Huggie Bear has WVU very good as usual. But all lose out early in March. Hell if you include ISU, they are the definition of March Madness choke job.

Sure they are better than the SEC and Big 10 but thats not saying much.
