According to his Instagram page.

I feel bad for athletes like this. It's all they've ever done their entire lives and they don't know how to walk away from it.
Imagine being in your 30's and having to decide what you want to do with your life when you've done only one thing since you were old enough to put on pads. Sad.

remember a couple months ago when he said he had signed with a team, it would be announced after the super bowl and he hinted it was atlanta?
good times.

I had to delete him IG, it was becoming pathetic actually. He is practically begging.

I would live to see him get healthy and make a comeback, but I don't see it happening.

Yeah, its gotta be tough. Hopefully he can find his way.
But there are a lot of people out there who would trade places with him.

He talks a lot on IG, he made one of those Instagram live videos and I asked a couple questions to which he answered, he had two teams interested in him and they were Carolina and the steelers. And he said he also keeps in touch with Sean Payton and they are suppose to get together soon and sit down and talk since he will be cleared to play In May. Said he would rather take Vet minimum to come back to the Saints instead of other teams.
He lashs out on our medical staff often too saying they are not good compared to others around the league and that it took getting the try outs from other teams to get their medical staff to find out what was actually wrong with him and why he kept getting reinjured to which he says he has under control now. He also says Dennis Allen doesn't have the locker room under control and that multiple players still rather Rob Ryan over him.
There was multiple other things he said but this was about a month ago I last listened to him.

Lewis was awesome when healthy. But that's been rare unfortunately. Him and Breaux could have made a really nice duo

Give up the ghost, Keenan. Thank you for your service.
For everything, there is a season. Best of luck.

He should try getting into coaching ASAP. Don't risk it on the field. And if you follow him on Instagram, you dam sure know a sports anchor gig isn't in his future.

I 100% believe this. same with the Pelicans.

Normal with a coaching change. Players get butt hurt about their roles in new systems all the time. They will adapt and get over it or get cut.

i think this is his opinion clouding reality. I spoke with a player recently that said Keenan runs his mouth to much and some players got annoyed with him. The player felt the Saints gave him everything he wanted and yet he still kept bitching.

Any saints player, and I mean ANY, who still prefers Rob Ryan over Dennis Allen after 2015/2016 should be cut immediately.

Hope he goes to Atlanta.
